Issues
The issues you have raised are the same issues my wife and I talk about around our kitchen table:
Making life more affordable
Families, seniors, students and working people are finding it harder to make ends meet. We need to build more affordable housing, cap unreasonable increases in rent, provide more affordable child care and keep utility rates affordable.
Providing support for our seniors
Many seniors need more support to continue living in their own home, but the Wall govern- ment has cut programs that help seniors do that. Long-time couples are worried about being separated if one or both of them is placed in long-term care.
Improving health care
The Wall government promised that patients would come first, but scrapped plans to build a new public surgical care centre in Regina and de-insured coverage for chiropractic care.
Spending your money on your priorities
Government spending has increased by $2 Billion a year and Saskatchewan is now running a massive deficit. The Wall government unwisely spends money on pet projects while the issues that are important to families like yours and mine are ignored. Fiscal responsibility starts by spending your money on your priorities.
